Welcome to the Website of Watford and District U3A, Hertfordshire.

Watford U3A was formed in 1997. We have about 475 members and our annual subscription is £18.00.

The 'University of the Third Age' (U3A) was founded in Cambridge in 1982. The U3A is a self help collective of retired and semi-retired people. "No qualifications are required and none are gained". Each U3A is autonomous. If you would like to know more about the U3A movement, click on "Web Links" and follow the link to the website for the Third Age Trust.
