Welcome to the Website of Watford and District U3A, Hertfordshire.

Watford U3A was formed in 1997. We have about 475 members and our annual subscription is £20.00.

The 'University of the Third Age' (U3A) was founded in Cambridge in 1982. The U3A is a self help collective of retired and semi-retired people. "No qualifications are required and none are gained". After servicing the sleigh belonging to an elderly gentleman, dressed in red, just before Christmas, the D.I.Y. group got down to basics at the January meeting under the watchful eyes of Francis Goode.
